I always research my purchases to death before pulling the trigger and this time was no different. The Scout certainly doesn´t dissapoint. Although not the most dexterous, the Scout is plenty warm when worn with the liners. I went from totally numb fingers with my old worn out gloves to toasty on all but the most frigid of days. So far I´d say they were good for anything down to about -15C but everyone runs at different temps. They are a bit more clumsy to put on than my old short cuff gloves as my hard shell jacket is designed to go over your cuffs whereas these gauntlet style Scouts are certainly designed to go over. The touch friendly and grippy liners are very welcome for not losing all your hand heat when you want to use your phone for a few seconds, the hand cinch strap, wrist cinch strap and hand loop make sure your gloves aren´t getting lost if you utilise them. The soft nose wipe on the right glove and the goggle squeedgy on the left are nice touches on a budget friendly glove although don´t use the squeedgy to clear icy stuff from your board as I did and shredded the edge of the squeedgy, it´s made from a kind of hard rubbe/sofy plastic so as to not scratch your lens. Very happy with my purchase although I´d personally go for the short cuff version if I was to find it for as cheap as this one (29.95 Euros). Can´t do better for the money and even at twice the price you wouldn´t go wrong.
