comfortable cardigan, fits well under my underwear. Warmth can be felt in the places where it is needed. The only downside is the switch that cannot be locked. I solved this by sticking a rubber washer around it

I understand that once you have finished the dive or in case of having to get out of the water due to symptoms associated with excess cold, the vest fulfills the function of restoring the comfort temperature. It is for which I have acquired the vest since the school of which I am a part dives in the Islas Atlanticas National Park and its waters are usually colder than in the rest of the dive sites.

Comfortable vest that warms evenly and nicely. Good fit and quality. Minus that the battery can be turned off if you access the button, which should have been a lock. Also keep in mind that you will have the battery inside the dry suit without the possibility of turning it off during diving

The Mares xr Active Heating Vest is very warm. The heat settings are just right. Comfortable and the pockets are useful. I have not tried wearing it under my drysuit for diving yet but I am confident that it will keep me nice warm for scuba diving.

do not think so. Standard USB is 5 Volts. Battery Mares requires 8.4 volts to charge. Battery itself is 7.4 Volt

Hi there. Yes the battery and charger are included. A word of caution though before you purchase. The on/off switch is very prone to switching itself off. This can be overcome by taping a button over the switch....front side to the switch...thus putting a "cover" over it. Also, from a diving perspective, the heat you get from it isn´t great and if you are wearing it under a dry suit and the latter leaks, then you´re done for as the battery isn´t waterproof. I just now use mine for boat handling and wear a second hand Santi for diving. No comparison between the two tbh.

Good morning, if the jacket is worn under the dry suit, how do you regulate the temperature since you cannot open the suit?

This is only possible by setting the temperature in advance. you can choose from 4 settings. In the warmest setting, the vest heats for about 90 minutes. Heating starts immediately after switching on, so before you have completely put on your drysuit and the dive can begin. In practice no problem. the vest works well. You cool down less, but you don´t really get a very nice warm feeling. you don´t get cold, but you don´t get hot either.

You usually adjust your temperature in advance to medium (3 choices) if it is really cold on the highest setting. Please note that you should always wear a T-shirt as an underlayer first. Works great for that price.

Hi! Check the price, I paid around 170€(21%VAT+ 7€ shipment inc.) and it came with battery. If it is around 100€, there I no battery. Hope this helps!

Normally, you can see by the difference in price... check other sites on internet, the lower prices do not include battery. I paid around 170 (VAT inc) with battery. Hope this helps.
