On this occasion, LA SPORTIVA presents the new running shoes, ideal for mountain hiking KARACAL TRAIL RUNNING SHOES, made with Comfort Fit technology ideal for prolonged use.
It has an inner lining made of highly resistant and quick-drying mesh. It has a surface made of seamless mesh to provide maximum comfort, breathability and flexibility.
It has a braided fastening system and padded tongue. It has a midsole made of double density EVA rubber for maximum cushioning. Its sole is made with high-impact FriXion technology.
Karacal is the training shoe dedicated to trail running uses, Karacal is designed for prolonged off-road training on medium and long distances and is perfect for post-race recovery thanks to its exceptional comfort fit and high breathability. The compact performance-like collar and traditionally constructed tongue guarantee maximum comfort. The 3D Mesh single-layer seamless upper allows the containment of volumes and high breathability, the rear microfiber reinforcements support the overall stability of the shoe. Extremely lightweight and flexible thanks to the weight reduction of all the materials used and the lightweight and durable dual density EVA midsole. The thermo-form toe-cap contributes to the overall lightweight features and provides excellent protection from impacts against rocks and roots. Outsole in durable FriXion blue compound with Impact Brake System lugs in varying thicknesses, enhancing traction & braking efficiency and optimizing weight. Karacal: if you train, you trail.

I love the Karacal, purchsed my 3rd pair now. I wear them for trail runs, quite technical sometimes, and feel supported and cushioned. I use them extensively, also did ultra races wearing them. they last well over 1000 km. Highly recommended!

After a running start, 12km on wet ground and 3 mountain trekking starts of about 15km each. I have to sell them because they are small for me, I took half a number more than what I normally wear 42.5 and my size is 42, but I need a 43. Until now I had always worn Adidas Terrex, Salomon and Altra, with a 42.5 . Of these I need a 43. Coming from Altra Peak I notice them tight and hard, I suppose because of the smaller size too.
