It has a hood designed with SKI FREE technology to guarantee high visibility on the mountain. Features LIFE POCKET pockets with Primaloft insulation. It has removable gaiters on the wrist with thumb holes.

Just received my Helly Hansen Alpha 3.0 Jacket. Wow! Really impressed. High quality with lots of pockets, and features to let in air and to keep it out when it is cold. The fit is snug but there is plenty of room for a fleece and base layer for those colder days. The fabric stretches a bit so give plenty of room to move. It does have a thin layer of insulation, but I am assuming for colder days you will need to layer up. Traveling to Zermatt in January, I'll touch back in after the trip to let you know. First impressions I am delighted with my purchase
